Job Summary:
The C&SG Analyst is part of the C&SG department and will report to the C&SG Manager. The C&SG Analyst is responsible for supporting procurement activities through data-driven analysis, sourcing support, contract management, and risk assessment. As part of the C&SG department, this role focuses on optimizing the procurement of services and software by collecting, cleansing, and analyzing data to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contracting:
- Assist in the review and management of contracts for services and software purchases.
- Analyze contract terms, including software licensing agreements, to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Support negotiations by providing data-driven insights on pricing, terms, and supplier performance.
- Sourcing:
- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential service and software suppliers.
- Assist in the development of sourcing strategies to optimize costs and improve supplier performance, focusing on service and software categories.
- Collaborate with IT, legal, and other departments to ensure alignment of sourcing activities with business needs.
- BI Analytics:
- Develop and maintain procurement dashboards using business intelligence tools, focusing on software and service spend.
- Provide actionable insights based on procurement data to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
- Spend Analysis, Data Cleansing, and Data Collection:
- Collect, cleanse, and analyze procurement data specifically related to services and software purchases.
- Perform spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and areas for improvement in software licensing and service contracts.
- Maintain procurement databases and ensure data integrity with a focus on software asset management.
- Risk Management:
- Facilitate data collection, cleansing, and reporting for risk management activities related to services and software procurement.
- Assist in the identification and assessment of risks, particularly in software compliance and service delivery.
- Support the development of mitigation strategies to address identified risks, including those associated with software licensing.
- Segmentation Support:
- Collect, validate, and report on segmentation data to support procurement strategies, particularly for software and services.
- Assist in developing supplier segmentation models based on spend, risk, and performance criteria.
- Provide analytical support for segmentation initiatives, focusing on optimizing supplier relationships in the service and software categories.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related analytical role, with a focus on services and software.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL) and software asset management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and risk assessment, specifically in services and software.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and software asset management tools.
- Certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is a plus.
- Experience in a similar industry or sector, particularly in IT or services procurement.
